Here’s Head of Year 9, Mrs Peterson. She has just taken a phone call from James’ mum (who has an English PhD).
James’ mum did authorise James to leave school and attend the student demo in town, against the school’s specific instructions. The mummy “doctor” did praise her son’s defiant actions using social media, telling everyone how proud she was of him.
But now she wants Mrs Peterson’s help because little James is becoming a “little shit” and won’t do anything he is asked.
